About Children's Ministry
Children are a vital part of the Clarkston Free Methodist Church ! They are the church of today as well as the church of the future. We have a dedicated staff of professionals and volunteers, and our mission is to help each child come to know Jesus Christ as personal Savior and to “grow them up” in their faith so they can know Christ's Love and show it to others.
We provide Christ-centered, age-level appropriate classes and activities for children from birth through 5th grade. In activity-oriented classes, learning about the Bible and how to live for Jesus is fun!
Birth to 36 months
Our nursery is a safe space where God’s Love is expressed to our littlest worshippers!
Age 3 to 5
Our Preschool program is designed to introduce your child to Jesus and help you, as a parent, lay a basic Christian foundation that can be built upon for a lifetime! Using stories, crafts, snacks and play, we help your child learn to love God and learn to belong to a loving, laughing, growing, and caring community of believers.
Kindergarten to 5th grade
Elementary ministry is a blast! Our newly remodeled Junior Chapel sets the tone for a cool place for kids to study God's Word. Sunday morning focuses on large group time with the Noah’s Park program in the Junior Chapel (1st service) and age appropriate Sunday School classes (2nd service.) Our kids meet on Wednesday nights to explore various faith-based topics from a totally kid-oriented perspective. Fast moving, interactive lessons incorporating: Video clips, Powerpoints, puppets, games and small groups are all part of our Wednesday night activities. Members
